Abstract:
Objective To summarize the experiences with perioperative nursing for aged patients with early gastric cancer(EGC) after endoscopic sub-mucosal dissection(ESD).
Methods Experiences with perioperative nursing(including nursing before,during and after operation,and after discharge from hospital) for 155 aged patients with EGC after ESD were summarized.
Results All lesions in the 155 patients were successfully removed,during which no perforation occurred.Delayed hemorrhage was found in 7 patients(4.3%)and stopped after certain measures were taken.Ninety patients(56%) were followed up,during which they had no recurrence.
Conclusion It helps to increase the success rate of operation,reduce the complications and improve the life quality of patients to strengthen the examination of complications,assessment of the disease before operation,perioperative nursing of the patients with EGC after ESD and instructions for patients after discharge from hospital and their families.
