Abstract:
Objective To screen the space environment induced Klebsiella pneumonia mutant strain and study its transcriptome.
Methods The Klebsiella pneumonia mutant strain was screened from which loaded on Shenzhou-Ⅷ space craft using Biolog GEN Ⅲ Micro Plate TM. Then whole transcriptome was sequenced with high-throughput sequencing technology, and gene expression annotation, GO annotation and KEGG signaling pathway annotation were analyzed for differentially expressed genes with processed raw sequencing data.
Results Klebsiella pneumoniae mutant showed differences with controls in carbohydrate metabolism. This mutant strain had 232 genes up regulated and 1879 genes down regulated, which were mainly associated with bacterial membrane proteins, transportrelated functions and carbohydrate transport.
Conclusion One space environment-induced Klebsiella pneumoniae mutan strain is obtained, and the whole transcriptome sequencing and annotation are clear, which lays foundation for subsequent functional studies.
