Abstract: Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is a process in which the epithelial cells transform into mesenchymal cells. As it closely associates with the malignant behavior of tumor such as invasion and metastasis, it attracts widespread attention in recent years. Prostate cancer is a threat for elder men, and EMT plays an important role in prostate cancer metastasis. In this paper, the research progress of EMT in prostate cancer will be reviewed to expand thoughts of the mechanism, prevention and treatment of prostate cancer metastasis.
