Abstract:
With the advances in aviation technology, long-haul flights of more than 4 hours have become more and more common. Normally, the urination interval of ordinary people is about 2 hours. Therefore, how to choose urination strategies for flight crews during long-haul flight is problematic, particularly for small aircraft and fighter jets. This article summarizes the flight crews’ urination strategies at home and abroad during long-haul flight, discusses their advantages and disadvantages, and forecast the development of pilot urination strategy and technology, aiming to better ensure flight safety.
