微管亲和调节激酶4的生理功能及其在心血管疾病中的研究进展

Research advances in physiological function of MARK4 and its role in cardiovascular diseases

  • 摘要: 近年来,微管亲和调节激酶4(microtubule affinity-regulating kinase 4,MARK4)逐渐走进研究者的视野。MARK4治疗癌症、神经退行性变和代谢综合征等方面的研究已经取得了显著进展。但MARK4与心血管疾病关系的研究尚处于起步阶段,其作用机制和防治手段尚不十分明确。确定MARK4的作用机制及其在心血管疾病进展中的作用至关重要。本文就MARK4的结构特征、生理功能、在心血管疾病中的研究进展以及MARK4的潜在抑制剂进行综述, 探讨MARK4作为一个潜在的药物靶点对抗心血管疾病的发生发展。

     

    Abstract: Microtubule affinity-regulating kinase 4 (MARK4) has made remarkable achievements in the treatment of cancer, neurodegeneration and metabolic syndrome, which impresses the researchers in recent years. While the relationship between MARK4 and cardiovascular diseases is still under discovery. It is vital to determine the mechanism of MARK4 and its role in the progression of cardiovascular disease. Here we review the structural characteristics, physiological functions, research advances in cardiovascular diseases and potential inhibitors of MARK4, and investigate whether MARK4 can be used as a potential drug target to combat the occurrence and development of cardiovascular diseases.
