Elongation factor Tu GTP binding domain containing protein (EFTUD2), regulating the expression of a series of genes via modulating the splicing function of spliceosomes, is a core assembly of the U5 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein component of the spliceo-some. This article aims to summarize the vital role of EFTUD2 in immune regulation, embryo development and tumor progression.
