Abstract
Recurrent implantation failure (RIF) refers to infertile women who have undergone multiple in vitro fertilization embryo transfer cycles and failed to clinical pregnancy after transferring multiple high-quality embryos. Studies have shown that psychological stress not only affects female reproductive endocrine hormones, but also directly regulates the local microenvironment of the endometrium to cause endometrial dysfunction, which in turn leads to the occurrence of RIF and the increase of psychological stress in patients, resulting in a vicious cycle of psychological stress and adverse pregnancy outcomes. This article provides a systematic review on the effects of psychological stress on embryo implantation and psychological status and intervention strategies in patients with RIF.
