Contrast observation of clinical curative effect on treatment of multi-drug resistance pulmonary tuberculosis with containing drug gelatin by bronchofiberscope

  • Objective:To evaluate the clinical curative effet and safety of treatment of multi-drug resistance pulmonary tuberculosis with containing drug gelatin by fiberbronchoscoope.Methods:The 68 patients were treated with containing drug gelatin by bronchofiberscope And medication in experiment group, The 35 patients were treated only by medication in control group. the clinical curative effet in the near future and specified future date were observed.Results:At the end six month therapy, the sputum negative conversion rate was 72.1%, foci marked absorption rate was 83.3%,and cavity curative effect rate was 60.5% in experiment group, all of which were higher than that of the controls (49.6.%, 57.1% and 41.6%, P<0.05). Sputum negative conversion time was 36.3d in experiment group, it was shorter than that of the controls (61.8d, P<0.01). At the final follow up after 2 years,The sputum positive conversion rate was 7.4% in experiment group and was 14.3% in control group,There were no differences between experiment group and control group. There were not severe adverse reaction in experiment group. Conclusion:The efficiency of the containing drug gelatin by fiberbronchoscoope is better than the routine medication. experiment group was similar to control group in curative effect of specified future date. The technique was effective and safe in treatment of multi-drug resistance pulmonary tuberculosis.
