Perioperative management of catheter placement operation for patients with aortic valve severe stricture

Abstract
Objective To explore the perioperative management of catheter placement for patients with aortic valve severe stricture. Methods One patient with aortic valve severe stricture was recruited and treated with catheter placement through the aortic valve.We set up a multi-disciplinary and specialized operation team,and conducted the preoperative assessment,intraoperative monitoring and postoperative safety monitoring(CCU) as well as rehabilitation and regular follow-up. Results The operation was successful and there was no improper nursing complication.The patient was followed up for 12 months,and the data showed that she had significantly relief of chest tightness after activity.The patient’s activity endurance had been promoted step by step which also indicated the improvement of her survival quality. Conclusion Catheter placement operation for patient with aortic valve severe stricture can be successfully completed by specialized operation team and personalized perioperative management.
