Cooperation requirements of a second assistant in laparoscopy gastrointestinal operation

With the wide application of laparoscopy operation in gastrointestinal surgery,the requirements for surgical standards have gradually increased.The cooperation requirements for laparoscopy operation team are higher than those for traditional open surgery.Thus,the training of assistants is critically important for the laparoscopy operation team.It is difficult to those who first perform laparoscopy operation to cooperate with the assistant.The training opportunities for the laparoscopy gastrointestinal surgeons are quite more at present.Our experiences in laparoscopy gastrointestinal surgery were summarized in order to provide some enlightenment for the standard training of assistants for laparoscopy gastrointestinal surgeons.
