Abstract
Objective To study the perioperative nursing of patients after transumbilical single port laparoscopic radical nephrectomy. Methods Perioperative nursing data about 50 patients who underwent transumbilical single port laparoscopic radical nephrectomy in August 2009–December 2011 were retrospectively analyzed. Results Preoperative skin preparation and health diet education and careful post-operative nursing could prevent and reduce complications. The 50 patients were recovered and discharged from hospital after operation. Conclusion Measures should be taken for the perioperative nursing of patients after transumbilical single port laparoscopic radical nephrectomy. It is of certain significance to establish the general body and mental nursing model for the good surgical outcome, early discovery and prevention of complications, and recovery of patients after transumbilical single port laparoscopic radical nephrectomy.
