Emergence and evolution of the name of non-radiological axial spondyloarthritis

The emergence of the name of non-radiological axial spondyloarthritis has detailed the concept of spine arthritis, which also provides reference for identification of axial spine arthritis before patients were discovered with sacroiliac joint structural change via X-ray scanning. Axial spine arthritis in radiology derives from ankylosing spondylitis, spondyloarthropathy and axial spondyloarthritis. In this paper, evolution process of diagnosis and classification standard for these phases, disease treatment strategy, disease development degree and prognosis are summarized.
