Role of Wnt10B in development of neoplasms and diseases

  • As one member of Wnt protein family, Wnt10B plays a vital role in the process of normal development and neoplastic transformation. Wnt10B can control the pluripotency and fate of cells in adipose tissue, bone, liver, stomach, intestine and skin, which will cause obesity, diabetes, osteoporosis, tissue fibrosis, cancer and so on. This review elucidates the role of Wnt10B in the development of diseases, which can provide new ideas for related diseases.
