Advances in Parkinson's visual hallucinations

  • Visual hallucinations are the most common psychotic symptoms in Parkinson disease (PD), and recent studies have estimated approximately 30%- 60% of PD patients experiencing VHs as a feature of PD. The occurrence of visual illusions associates with many factors, including dopamine drugs dosage, cognitive decline and so on. The research progresses of visual hallucinations of Parkinson's disease are summarized in this paper.
