Advances in nanotechnology in tumor thermal ablation

In recent years, local thermal ablation technique has become an effective method in treatment of solid tumors. However, each technique has its certain limitations that may prevent their widespread use in clinical applications. With rapid development of new types of nanoparticles, nanomedicine has made rapid progress in the field of tumor diagnosis and treatment. Main advances in the application of nanotechnology combined local thermal ablation are reviewed in this paper in order to provide more information for it.
