Advances in brain MRI of patients with post-stroke depression

  • Post-stroke depression(PSD)is one of the most common complications after stroke.Since its pathogenesis is unclear and the diagnosis lacks of specificity, patients with PSD are easily missed and misdiagnosed, which seriously affects patients’health and life. With the generation and application of new techniques of magnetic resonance imaging, these technologies can reflect the change of function and structure of brain from physical structure, biological metabolism and other aspects.Magnetic resonance imaging has great significance in detecting the pathogenesis, lesion positioning, early finding and diagnosis, treatment evaluation and other aspects of PSD.
