Advances in animal models with chronic migraine

  • About 2.5% of people with episodic migraine transform to chronic migraine every year. Till now, the mechanisms of transformation remain unclear. A reliable animal model of chronic migraine will be beneficial to understand the pathogenesis of migraine and drug development. Here, we comprehensively summarize literatures about the experimental animal models with chronic migraine.
