Advances in application of metabonomics in pathology of coronary heart disease

Metabonomics is a systematic science that detects small molecule metabolites in body fluid and tissue by high-throughput method and analyzes the correlation between changes of metabolites and physiological or pathological alteration, which has been widely used in coronary heart disease. Recent progresses and applications of metabonomics in pathophysiology and diagnosis of coronary heart disease will be reviewed in this article.
