Pyoderma gangrenosum misdiagnosed as acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis: A case report

  • One case of pyoderma gangrenosum is reported in this article.The patient is a 55-year-old male who presents erythema and nodules with pain on the back for ten days.Physical examination has shown two infiltrated erythematous plaque on the back with the size of 16 cm x 14 cm and 13 cm×10 cm, respectively, and pustule and scab have been found on the top of them.According to the clinical manifestations and skin biopsy results, the patient have been diagnosed as pyoderma gangrenosum.
