AIDS-related diffuse large B-cell lymphoma: A case report

Abstract
Objective To report the pathogenic conditions, clinical features and treatment of one patient with AIDS-related lymphoma. Methods Clinical data about one patient with AIDS-related diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (male, 57 years old) admitted to the 302 Military Hospital of China were analyzed retrospectively. Results The main clinical symptom of this patient was lymphadenectasis, and pathological diagnosis was the standard diagnosis of this disease. Highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) and antilymphoma therapy were performed to this patient, and his symptoms were alleviated with shrinking lymph node. Conclusion The tolerance to chemotherapy and the prognosis of patient with AIDS-related lymphoma may be improved greatly after HAART.
