Advances in fertility preservation in women with cancer

Chemotherapy and radiotherapy may cause ovarian damage in women with cancer.Advances in reproductive medicine and cryobiology provide possibilities for fertility preservation in girls and young women with cancer, such as embryo cryopreservation or oocyte cryopreservation, in vitro maturation of immature oocyte, cryopreservation of ovarian tissue, primordial and preantral follicle culture and so on.Germ cells derived from stem cells are under research and still cannot be applicated clinically.
