Abstract
Total hip arthroplasty (THA) is one of the most effective therapy for the end-stage hip diseases, accompanying with massive intraoperatve bleeding loss (IBL). This review summarizes major in fluencing factors of IBL that widely studied in recent years, such as demographics, protopathy, concomitant diseases, previous surgery history and preoperative pharmacotherapy. This would be a reference for orthopedists in assessing and minimizing IBL in the operation.
