Research advances in effects of space environment and simulated microgravity on Salmonella enterica

  • Space environment and simulated microgravity may lead to significant changes in growth, stress responses, virulence and genetic characteristic of Salmonella enterica. This article reviews the effects of space environment and simulated microgravity on Salmonella enteria's biological behavior and relative mechanism to provide a new strategy on the preventing and treating infectious disease in space flight.
