Research advances in mechanism of inf l ammation response after spinal cord injury

  • Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a trauma with high morbidity in the central nervous system (CNS). It often causes loss of sensory, motor, and sphincter function. The inflammatory response plays an important role in SCI and its function after spinal cord injury. Restoring tissue repair is extremely important. This article elaborates the mechanism of inflammatory responses in spinal cord injury and the perspectives of modulating inflammatory responses as a therapeutic potential for spinal cord injury.
