Abstract
Heat stroke (HS) is a fatal heat-related illness, which is always associated with impairment of central nervous system(CNS). High fever, inflammatory response and heat stress are important pathophysiological mechanisms leading to CNS injury, and they are also the main causes of death of HS patients. Understanding the pathogenesis of CNS injury of HS is helpful to improve the understanding of HS disease and guide clinical treatment, so as to reduce its mortality.
