Configuration of cannulated compression screws in internal fixation of femoral neck fracture

  • Femoral neck fracture is a common fracture in lower limb, and its therapeutic method remains controversial. Internal fixation with cannulated compression screws is a commonly used technique for femoral neck fracture, with the advantages of minimally invasive, easy to operate, and retaining the patient's own hip function. However, the biomechanics and clinical effects of screws with different configurations varies greatly. This paper reviews the common screw configurations of cannulated screw fixation for femoral neck fracture by retrieving relevant literatures.
