Abstract
Percutaneous vertebral augmentation(PVA)is the most commonly used minimally invasive surgical method for the treatment of vertebral compressive fracture, while it may lead to secondary fracture of diseased vertebra and adjacent vertebra. The causes of secondary fracture after PVA are related to the biomechanical changes of vertebra, bone cement leakage and bone density, etc.Related studies on secondary fracture after PVA surgery are summarized in this review.
