Abstract
Objective To explore the prevalence and influencing factors of depression in 1324 rescuers, and provide early-warning model and evidences for them. Methods Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ9) was used to perform a cross-sectional survery on rescuers in November 2018.Logistic regression was used to explore risk factors of positive self-assessed depression. Results All the rescuers were male, with the average age of (20.54±1.86) years old.The positive rate of self-assessed depression in the rescuers was 10.3% (137/1 324).Logistic regression analysis showed that years of smoking (OR,1.261;95% CI,1.006 to 1.582),family history of diseases (OR,4.263;95% CI,1.567 to 11.600),insomnia (OR,5.154;95% CI,1.470 to 18.072) were risk factors of self-assessed depression. Conclusion The self-assessed depression may be related with years of smoking, family history of diseases and insomnia.Early prevention and management should be done so as to avoid attrition due to depression.
