Research advances in application of shockwave in regenerative medicine

As a unique type of micro-energy medicine,shockwave has been increasingly applied in the field of regenerative medicine.Both clinical and basic studies have confirmed that shockwave can promote tissue regeneration and achieve excellent clinical efficacy.Stem cells,as the most classic seeds in regenerative medicine,its proliferation and repair efficiency can be promoted and enhanced by shockwave in many researches.With further exploration,more studies are devoted to reveal or clarify its mechanism,so as to maximize its biological efficiency.This paper reviews current research advances in this field.
