Research advances in role of lncRNA in traumatic spinal cord injury and brain injury

  • lncRNA promotes the development of nervous system and regulates synaptic plasticity by regulating the growth,differentiation and synaptic formation of neurons.Therefore,a better understanding of the role of lncRNA in regulating pathophysiological mechanisms associated with acute central nervous system injury will provide experimental and theoretical evidences for the development of effective drugs for nerve injury.Numerous studies have demonstrated that how the disorder of lncRNA expression affects the mechanism of neuropathic pain.This paper reviews recent advances in the study of lncRNA in spinal cord injury and brain injury,as well as the research progress of lncRNA in the pathogenesis of neuropathic pain and its potential utility as a therapeutic target.
