Objective To summarize the nursing care and protective measures to 5 patients with mild novel coronavirus-infected pneumonia from admission to healing.
Methods Medical data of the first batch of patients with confirmed novel coronavirus pneumonia in our hospital from January 23, 2020 were collected. They presented with mild symptoms, such as fever, cough, fatigue. Chest CT scan showed ground glass opacity. Disinfection, isolation measures and symptomatic treatment such as antivirotic treatment, oxygen therapy and cough relieving were applied.
Results The average length of hospital stay was 8 days, and all patients were cured and discharged.
Conclusion Patients with mild novel coronavirus pneumonia can be cured by standard treatment and nursing care, and medical staff avoid infection through strict protection.
