Research advances in role of exosomes in bone regeneration and bone diseases

Exosome is a kind of extracellular vesicles secreted by cells with a diameter ranging from 30 to 150 nm.As the main pathway of paracrine secretion,exosome is of great importance in cell-to-cell communication,for it can promote bone regeneration and play a role in the development and progression of bone diseases.This article reviews the research advances in exosomes in the field of bone regeneration and bone diseases,hoping to provide evidences for the research and clinical application.
