Research advances in mechanism of transcription factor MUM1/IRF4 in lymphoma

MUM1 (multiple myeloma oncogene 1)/IRF4 (interferon regulatory factor 4) is an important transcription factor in the family of interferon regulatory factors (IRFs),and it exerts important influence on the development and immune function of a variety of immune cells by affecting a series of signal transduction.Recent studies have found that abnormal expression of MUM1/IRF4 can be detected in a variety of lymphatic malignancies.It plays an important role in the occurrence,development,diagnosis and prognosis of lymphoma.This paper mainly reviews the research advances in the mechanism of MUM1/IRF4 in pathogenesis of lymphoma.
