Application of allogeneic blood vessels in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery

  • With the improvement of surgical techniques,hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors with local involvement of blood vessels are no longer a surgical contraindication.Reconstruction after resection of the involved blood vessels is gradually popularized in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery,and the application of vascular grafts is also increasing.Autologous blood vessels,artificial blood vessels and allogeneic blood vessels are commonly used in clinical practice.This article reviews the advantages of allogeneic blood vessels and their application in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery.
