Prevention and control strategies of healthcare-associated infection in DR Congo Chinese Peacekeeping Hospital during COVID-19 epidemic

Since March 2020,COVID-19 has become a worldwide epidemic disease.Although several 2019-nCoV infection prevention and control proposals are proposed in China,the Peacekeeping Hospital in the DR Congo region of Africa still faces severe prevention and control challenges due to the inherent design of its ward,backward facilities and lack of personal protective equipments.This article summarizes the prevention and control measures of our hospital during the epidemic of COVID-19,such as putting forward emergency plan,establishing pre-examination triage area,standardizing disinfection and isolation system,and rational use of protective equipment,so as to provide reference for other hospitals with similar conditions.
