Damage control surgery in management of trauma

Rapid economic development is accompanied by an increase in the number of vehicles, and an associated rise in traffic-related trauma cases. In recent years, damage control surgery (DCS) has been used in trauma treatment to improve the survival rate of severe multiple trauma patients. This article mainly introduces the development of damage control surgery, and its clinical application and research progress.
