Abstract
Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury is a common sports injury, and ACL reconstruction is the conventional treatment after ACL injury. There are many factors that may lead to the failure of ACL reconstruction. In this paper, we review the literatures on graft selection, single and double bundle reconstruction, bone tunnel position, fixation methods, concomitant injuries and postoperative rehabilitation. A deep understanding of these factors is of great value in improving the effect of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.
