Research advances in stem cell-based treatment for non-scarring alopecia

Non-scarring alopecia is a common skin disease, and current treatments fail to meet the expectation of patients. With the development of regenerative medicine, stem cell-based treatment of non-scarring alopecia may bring new hope. In this article, current status of stem cell therapy in alopecia and the potential breakthrough in this field are summarized, hoping to provide evidence for the clinical translation of stem cell therapy in non-scarring alopecia.
