Research advances in role of delinear ubiquitinase OTULIN in regulating inflammation and cell death through NF-κB pathway

  • NF-κB pathway plays an important role in many processes such as innate immunity, suppression of inflammation, embryo implantation and development. Linear ubiquitination is a special type of ubiquitination modification discovered in recent years. OTULIN is the deubiquitinating enzyme that can specifically degrade linear ubiquitin chains. Most studies suggest that OTULIN can regulate inflammation and cell death through the NF-κB pathway, and the major findings are summarized in this review.
