Abstract
Preeclampsia is a severe complication of pregnancy, which can rapidly progress to multi-organ dysfunction with a high mortality rate. The development of preeclampsia involves many mechanisms. Increasing evidences have indicated that ncRNA is closely related to the pathogenesis and development of preeclampsia. It affects the progress of PE by regulating trophoblast cells proliferation, apoptosis, migration and invasion, as well as angiogenesis. Some ncRNAs show diagnostic and therapeutic significance for PE, which may be a target for efficient diagnosis and treatment of PE in the future. In this article, we review the research progress of the role of ncRNA in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia as well as its application in clinical diagnosis and treatment.
