Expression of CXCR4 protein and mRNA in different lung cancer cell lines

Objective To investigate the expression of CXCR4 protein and mRNA in lung cancer cell lines originated from different tissuesMethods Expressions of CXCR4 protein and mRNA in 4 lung cancer cell lines（A549,H460,95D and GLC80） were detected by Western blot and RT-PCR,respectivelyResults The CXCR4 protein was significantly expressed in A549,H460,95D and GLC80.However,its expression level decreased progressively in the order of A549,H460,95D and GLC80（P＜0.05） as CXCR4 mRNA（P＜0.05）Conclusion CXCR4 is differently expressed in lung cancer cells with different origins,indicating that the expression of CXCR4 may be related with the tissue origin,malignancy and metastasis of lung cancer.
