Expression of BTBD10 protein in pancreatic islets and INS-1 cells of rats

Objective To observe the expression of BTBD10 protein in pancreatic islets and INS-1 cells of rats. Methods Expression of BTBD10 protein in pancreatic islets and INS-1 cells of Fischer344 rats at the age of 3 months was observed using BTBD10 polyclone antibody with multiple immunofluorescence staining techniques under laser confocal scan microscope. Results BTBD10 protein was expressed inβ-cells of rat pancreatic islets,but not in excrine glands and isletα-cells.Furthermore,BTBD10 and insulin were over-expressed in-cells and cytoplasm of INS-1 cells. Conclusion Specific expression of BTBD10 in β cells of rat pancreatic islets may be related with the function ofβcells and secretion of insulin.
