Abstract
Objective To study the effect of clitoroplasty with preservation of glans clitoris and dorsal-neurovascular pedicle on clitorism in female patients with pseudohermaphroditism. Methods Clinical data, surgical methods and follow-up data about 4 female clitorism patients with pseudohermaphroditism admitted to our hospital from August 2008 to August 2010 were retrospectively analyzed and its related literature was reviewed. Results The reconstructed clitoris survived in 4 female patients with pseudohermaphroditism, with a sensitive feeling and a satisfactory contour. Conclusion Clitoroplasty with preservation of glans clitoris and dorsal-neurovascular pedicle is an ideal procedure for clitorism, which can improve the appearance of clitoris and preserve the sensation and erection functions of clitoris.
