Analysis of 15 Tile C pelvic fracture following an earthquake

Objective: To discuss the experience and lesion about how to treat severe unstable pelvic fracture following an earthquake.Methods: To review clinical data of 15 TileC pelvic fracture treated in PLA No.452 hospital.The patients were managed with anti-shock measures and temporal fixation of fracture in the first stage and with percutaneous sarcral-lag screws and external fixation in the second stage.Results: After different-stage treatment,the patients were satisfactory reduction with no complications,obtained stable vital signs.Conclusion: Staged-treatment strategy for the earthquake pelvic fracture can improve the survival of patients and decrease their complications.
