Abstract
This paper deals with the results of a questionaire about sexual activities and measurement of T, LH, and FSH in 105 elderly men. 46 cases who properly answered the questionaire, 25(54.3%) had regular sexual activity. There was no relationship between the sexuality and T concentration. Comparing with control subjects, the T level in this group of elderly men was not significantly decreased, whereas LH and FSH were remarkably elevated. From 60 years in age on, T level did not decline with age, but LH and FSH significantly rose in the group of aged 70—75. The decline of sexuality and the change of these hormones in elderly men were discussed.
