The primary study of modifing the occlusive form of the complete denture for the establishment of centrical occlusion

It is difficult to choice the most suitable occlusive position for edentulous atients in complete denture made. The authors. accoding to the clinical research, provide a ew ethod to make it easier. That is, in the centrical position of the denture, the overbite of rtificial anterior teeth are only about 1.5mm and overjet about 2mm. Between upper and lower rtificial anterior teeth, there is a space about 1mm. The noncusp premolars and molars with or ithout wearproof sheet metal, which are made in our department, are arranged on posterior ooth osition.12 edentulous patients were choiced and the complete dentures were made with this ethod. Only 4, the occlusion is in centrical relations, the others centrical occlusive ositions. Through the simple occlusive adjustment, all the patients is satisfactory with the enture.
