Determination of polymorphism of human serum apopliporotein（a）by im-munoblotting technique

Lipoprotein(a) is an independent risk factor of coronary artery disease,and lipoprotein(a) plasma level is affected by apolipoproptein(a) polymorphism a greater or less degree. Using the monoclonal anti-apolipoprotein(a) antibody which does not crossreact with plasminogen,we set up an immunoblbtting analysis technology of apolipoprote in(a) polymorphism. Preliminary use of this method in 230 individuals showed that the detective rate of apolipoprotein(a) phenotypes is 79.6%. This method is more sensitive and specific,and may assist in the calculation and prevention of coronary artery desease in the susceptible population.
