ANALYSIS OF IMMUNE FUNCTION IN BOWEL INFLAMMATORY DISEASE（BID）

In 1983,we have made clinical observation on immune function in BID.The results showed that:the serum IgA levels were elevated in BiD,significantly higher than that in normal and colitis subjects.In fact,the IgA production was significantly impaired in BID;the immune function of red cells in BID tends to decrease;in Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis,the incidence of positive immune complex were 72% and 47.06%,respectively,as compared with 0% in normal control.C-reaction protein （CRP） in the serum observed in all patients with BID and colitis was significantly highel than that found in healthy subjects.
