Evaluation of the Methods for Disinfection of Fibergastroscope

44 samples of fibergastroscope were treated with gastroscope auto-disinfec machine plus oxychlorocide-1000 （a disinfectant）. It was found that by bacteriological examination about 99.0—99.9％ of contaminating bacteria on the surface of gasreoscope coule be cleared up wh- ile over 99.9％ of contaminating bacteria coule be removed with three-step method. It was significantly different by statistical analysis （P＜0.05）. It is proposed that the machine method used now for disinfection of gastroscope should be further improved.
