Abstract
Forty-Six patients with gerontal calcified aortic valve stenosis who had been submittedto hemodynamic studies were with color doppler echocardiography and 24-hour ambulatoryelectrocardiography(Holter recording) Ventricular arrhythmias were present in 89%of patientsand in 68%of cases were frequency and complexity of ventricular arrhythmias.A significantrelation was found between aortic valve stenosis and ventricular arrhythmias compared withcontrol group (p<0.01). It was showed that gerontal calcified aortic valve stenosis and it’s leftventricular hypertrophy were one of causes to make venricular arrhythmias.
